CRIS COMPANY – EXTENDED COMMERCIAL WARRANTY

CRIS COMPANY provides professional installation services throughout the European region.

To benefit from the exclusive 2-year extended commercial warranty, the product must be professionally installed at a designated CRIS cooperation store or CRIS-certified modification shop.

CRIS-certified technicians are responsible for the complete technical connection, professional installation, system configuration, and final functional testing. An official installation record and installation certificate will be issued and retained.

1. Installation at a CRIS-certified modification shop

Products professionally installed at a CRIS-certified modification shop are eligible for the 2-year extended commercial warranty, covering manufacturing defects of the product itself.

The warranty period begins on the date of professional installation.

2. Third-party installation or self-installation

If the customer chooses installation by a third-party workshop or performs the installation themselves, the CRIS 2-year extended commercial warranty does not apply.

However, the customer continues to benefit from all applicable mandatory statutory consumer rights and legal warranty rights under applicable EU and national law.

3. Warranty claim requirements

Any warranty claim must be accompanied by:

- the original CRIS order/invoice;
- the official installation certificate issued by the CRIS-certified modification shop;
- the vehicle information and product identification, where applicable.

CRIS COMPANY may require the product to be inspected and diagnosed before approving a warranty claim.

The customer must contact CRIS COMPANY before carrying out any unauthorized repair, modification, replacement, or disassembly of the product.

4. Exclusions

The extended commercial warranty does not cover:

- improper, incorrect, or incomplete installation;
- unauthorized modification or repair;
- installation or modification performed after the original CRIS installation;
- damage caused by vehicle electrical or electronic system failures;
- voltage fluctuations, short circuits, incorrect wiring, or incompatible vehicle components;
- physical, mechanical, water, fire, accident, or external damage;
- damage caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow the product instructions;
- normal wear and tear;
- damage caused by third-party products or accessories;
- consequential damage to other vehicle components that is not directly caused by a manufacturing defect of the CRIS product.

5. Installation and vehicle-related responsibility

The extended commercial warranty covers the CRIS product itself and does not constitute a warranty for the vehicle or for unrelated vehicle components.

Where a suspected product defect may have affected another vehicle component, CRIS COMPANY reserves the right to inspect and diagnose the vehicle and product before determining warranty responsibility.

6. Warranty procedure

In the event of a suspected defect, the customer must contact CRIS COMPANY or the CRIS-certified installation shop before removing or repairing the product.

Depending on the nature of the defect, CRIS COMPANY may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law:

- repair the defective product;
- replace the defective product or component;
- provide an equivalent replacement;
- or offer another appropriate warranty remedy.

Any repair or replacement under the extended commercial warranty does not automatically restart or extend the original warranty period unless required by applicable law or expressly confirmed by CRIS COMPANY.

7. Important notice

The 2-year CRIS extended commercial warranty is a voluntary commercial warranty and is provided in addition to, and does not limit or replace, any mandatory statutory consumer rights applicable under EU or national law.

The validity of the extended commercial warranty is conditional upon compliance with the installation and warranty requirements stated above.
